Selectboard
The Selectboard is the elected legislative body of the town. The Selectboard (Board) is composed of five members with overlapping terms. The Board acts only as a group by majority vote. Selectboard roles include general supervision of the affairs of the town (unless committed by statute to other town officers), including enacting ordinances and rules, hiring and directing town employees, developing a town budget for vote at the annual Town Meeting, and authorizing all town expenditures, among other duties.

Meetings
The Selectboard regularly meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 6:30 PM, with some exceptions. Upcoming meetings can be found in the calendar. Meetings are hybrid, held both in person at the Waitsfield Town Office (4144 Main Street) and remote via Zoom (Zoom link included on the meeting agenda).
