Town Clerk
The Town Clerk’s Office is the repository for the land and vital records of the town. One of the most important roles and responsibilities of the town clerk is to record, care for and preserve these records. By law, these records are available to the public. Copies of these records are available for a fee. The Town Clerk’s Office is also responsible for issuing dog licenses, civil marriage licenses, liquor licenses, notary services, as well as maintaining the voter checklist and conducting elections, among many other things.
