Town Administrator

Welcome to the Town Administrator’s page for Waitsfield, Vermont. Our Town Administrator plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations and long-term planning of our community.

Role and Responsibilities

The Town Administrator is appointed by the Selectboard and serves as Waitsfield’s principal staff member. Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing policies set by the Selectboard
  • Overseeing town operations and departments
  • Preparing and managing the annual town budget
  • Supervising town employees
  • Acting as the main point of contact between residents and the Selectboard
  • Policy Development Support – While they implement policy, they also frequently research and advise on policy matters.
