How to Get Involved
There are a number of ways to get involved to both show your support of the project, or learn more about the project by engaging with the team!
First, we ask that you consider participating in the survey found here. The survey will ask you a few quick questions about your support or concerns about this project. Your responses help the project team develop the most helpful outreach materials as we lead up to the June 11th bond vote.
Second, if you are a supporter of the project, we ask that you consider signing this public letter of support. This will allow us to demonstrate community support as we lead up to the bond vote.
There are also a number of events that you can participate in leading up to the June 11th bond vote. These events will provide an opportunity to learn more or ask any remaining questions you might have.
- A Bond Vote Information Meeting will be held on Monday, June 3rd at 6pm at the Waitsfield Town Office, with remote access available via Zoom. The agenda and Zoom link will be available here before the meeting.
- Consider joining us at one of three Coffee Hour Open Houses at Three Mountain Cafe, from 10:30am to 12:00pm on Friday, May 24th, May 31st, or June 7th. A member of the wastewater project team will be there to discuss the project and answer any questions you might have!
- The Waitsfield Community Wastewater Project will also have a table at the Waitsfield Farmers Market leading up to the bond vote. Project information can be found at the MRVPD table where you can also consider participating in the MRV Wellbeing Survey.
